Moonkin on a CE Mount

Found a moonkin called Jaysmonkey - He was in his moonkin form but yet still on a CE mount. I think this is a bug.

Here's what I heard.

You go to Menethil harbour, and just north of there is two abandoned ships, yet they're not quite abandoned as ghosts (ahh) roam them and these ghosts give you a debuff which changes you into an undead.
When you are an undead, you can change into Boomkin form without breaking this curse, so you stay as an undead but you're actually a Boomkin underneath.
So, when you have the curse, change into Boomkin form (or tree, but I don't know if it works) and mount up! Wait for the curse to run out and tadaaaaa, you'll be a Boomkin on a mount.
